Google is bringing a new Quick Reply feature to the Gmail app that will let you respond instantly to important emails and messages. The respective addition will be accompanied by a redesigned UI for Android smartphone users in the upcoming days.
How to use the Gmail ‘Quick Reply’ feature?
The new message box will show up at the bottom of the received emails, just like other chat applications. It will enable consumers to easily compose a quick response without creating a new email and filling in all the time-taking details.
Besides, you get the option to edit recipients as well as other relevant inputs in the same chat-like box using the tiny drop-down icon. In case you want more space in the text field then tap on the box. Ultimately, it will expand and shift to the middle of the screen while keeping the original email visible.
You can further add an emoji using the smiley icon at the side of the text field. Note that this new implementation will remove the three large tabs – Reply, Reply All, and Forward from the app.

At this point, the feature is accessible to some Android users via a server-side update. Though we may see a wider rollout in the coming weeks.
