Tesla Cars have a Bioweapon Defense mode which serves as a climate control feature. Ironically, the term might hit your brain with biological and toxin attacks. If yes, then you are right as this mode helps in maintaining cleanliness in the cabin air.
On the greener side, it works with the car’s High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter for removing mold, pollution, bacteria, and even viruses from the air coming into the cabin. The feature is quite useful if you drive your Tesla car mostly in high-polluted areas.
How to turn on the Bioweapon Defense Mode in Tesla Cars?
If your vehicle has the respective mode then you will see a biohazard icon at the top right of the screen. To activate it:
- Make your way to the Climate Control screen
- Click on the Biohazard icon
- The car will start using outside air and run it via a HEPA filter
- Users can also try using the feature through the Tesla app on the phone.
