Google Play Store is getting a new ‘device filters’ capability that will let you pick an app as per screenshots. Ultimately, it enables users to filter app screenshots based on specific device types and makes it easier to see how an application will look on different handy gadgets.
How does the ‘device filters’ capability in the Google Play Store work?
According to the details, the addition of the device filters will help consumers to recognize if the applications they are looking for, are worth downloading based on their appearance on other handsets. Instead of swiping through the large carousel of screenshots, you can filter through a particular device.
Note that the feature is not yet available to a wider audience. Yet, when it is live, you can select apps for phone, watch, tablet, Chromebook, and cars.
