Facebook is a wide social media platform that often increases stress among users related to privacy aspects but don’t worry as “lock your profile” is the right option for you. As the term reflects, this feature lets you restrict unknown users from sneaking into your account and checking your snaps or other details.
In simple words, when you lock your profile, no one can see your photos or posts unless you accept their friend request. Besides, it is better to accept only those requests that are known to you.
How to lock your Facebook profile?
- On your device, open the Facebook app
- Tap on the profile icon
- Click on the three-dot menu on the right side
- Select the Lock Profile option
- Choose the Lock Your Profile option
Once done, your Facebook details including your display picture, uploaded photos, and timeline will only be visible to your friends.
