Google has served the latest Android 14 upgrade to its Pixel phone owners with various prominent features but at the same time, it has resulted in a music app crashing issue for Android Auto. After installing the major build, many phone holders reported problems while playing music in their cars.
As per the shared details on Google forums and Reddit, the music app just randomly gets silent on Android Auto. Even if the music is playing on the track, users are unable to hear the sound. Notably, the issue has affected a few apps such as Spotify and YouTube Music.
Here is what a user said on the Google forum:
“I updated my Pixel to Android 14 earlier today. Now when I use spotify on android auto there is no sound. App shows the song playing. However no sound from the car speakers.”
