Instagram allows its users to easily unsend any message from a chat but it becomes difficult to recover those deleted messages at times of need. Thanks to the ‘Download your information’ option which gives you one more chance to obtain all the details of your Instagram account including texts you sent before deletion.
How to recover deleted messages from Instagram?
- Open Instagram on your device
- Go to your profile avatar and click on the three-line icon
- Select the Your Activity section
- Scroll down and choose Download your information
- Click on Request a download > Select account > Next
- Select an option from Complete Copy or Select types of information
- In the latter, click on Messages > Next
Here, adjust the file format and enter your email address. Once done, click on the Submit Request tab. Consequently, Instagram will notify you by email when your file is ready.
