Gmail not only helps with sending and receiving emails but also puts effort into maintaining users’ privacy. A good example of this scenario is the useful Confidential Mode in Gmail that enables users to protect their sensitive information from accidental sharing.
As the term reflects, the respective feature does not allow any user to copy, print, or download messages and attachments. Besides, it lets you set an expiration date for specific emails so that it remains away from unauthorized access.
How to turn on Confidential Mode in Gmail?
- Sign in to your Google Admin Console using your administrator account
- Go to the Menu (three-line icon)
- Select Apps > Google Workspace
- Click on the Gmail section and select User Settings
- Scroll down and tap on Confidential Mode
- Check the box to enable the feature
- Save your changes!
