Netflix is a video-streaming service that allows users to watch their favorite series, shows, and movies on an internet-connected device. It has several capabilities including the AutoPlay feature that starts playing new TV shows or movies if you don’t move or switch Netflix channels quickly.
Eventually, not everyone appreciates this setting much as it transitions from one episode to the next without giving Netflix any input. As soon as an episode reaches the end, a timer appears for when the next one starts. In case you don’t like this feature much, here is how to disable it.
How to turn off the AutoPlay feature on Netflix?
- Open Netflix on your streaming device
- Tap on the Profile Icon
- Choose the Account section or browse netflix.com/YourAccount
- Scroll down and select Profile & Parental Controls
- Select the profile you want to change
- Click on Playback Settings > Change
- Uncheck the Autoplay episode in a series on all device’s box
- Refresh the page or device
