Android 14 QPR2 Beta 1 is making its way to Google Pixel phone owners and comes with several eye-catching features such as the post-update screen. It is a new segment that displays information on the latest software and its features, more intuitively.

From the name, the new post-update splash screen appears after you reboot your handset to apply the latest firmware. It further has a toggle for sending usage and diagnostic data to help improve your device experience.

How does the post-update screen in Android 14 QPR2 Beta function?

As soon as the screen appears, it reads “Your Pixel is up to date”. Ahead, you will see a subtitle that tells you to “Check out how your Pixel just got better.” Tapping the Next button will lead you to the usage & diagnostics page and ask if you would like to opt into data sharing with Google.
