Facebook concerns about users’ privacy and lets you use the restricted list feature. As the term reflects, this list contains all those members from your friend’s section from whom you want to hide all your posts. It could be anyone such as your boss or a coworker.
Eventually, when you add a person to the restricted list, they only see posts and information you make public. Posts that show a globe icon will show up to everyone. Don’t worry as you will remain friends with these listed people. However, they won’t be able to keep an eye on your social life anymore.
How to use the Facebook restricted list feature?
- Open the Facebook website on your computer
- Select the Friends tab on the left side
- Click on Custom Lists
- Tap on the Restricted tab
- Click the Add/Remove button as per your requirement
- Tick-mark the checkbox next to the friend’s name
- Click Save
