Apple iOS 17.2 is ready to welcome a variety of useful elements on board and one of them is the new Focus Filter feature. The main aim of this tool is to determine what apps will show prompts and inputs during the Focus mode. Besides, this feature works wonders for the Apple Music application.
For instance, if you give access to your device to someone else to listen to music, you can quickly enable the Focus mode to prevent their song choices from interrupting your recommendations. It selectively turns off the listening history so that your playlist can remain secure in all aspects.
How does the iOS 17.2 Focus Filter feature work on Apple Music?
- Navigate to the Settings menu
- Select the Focus section
- Click on the + button and tap Custom
- Create a name, symbol, and color for your new Focus
- Hit the Next button
- Select the Customize Focus option
- Scroll down to Focus Filters > Add Filter
- Click on Music and turn off Use Listening History > Add
