Unknown Tracker Alert is a vital feature that Google has recently rolled out for Android 6.0+ devices. As the term reflects, the feature sends a prompt to users when someone else’s tracker is detected traveling with them. It further tells you how to find the tracker and what to do next.
Generally, this capability aims to notify Android users about alien trackers such as AirTags that are separated from their owners. Ahead, you can tap the notification to learn about the tracker and view a map of where the tracker was seen traveling with you.
With the help of the ‘Play Sound’ tab, you can locate the tracker without the owner knowing about it. It is a convenient way to shield you from spammers.
