Microsoft has unveiled the Windows 11 software with dynamic functionalities including the Speech Recognition feature. Eventually, this tool lets you have better control over your computer and certain apps via voice commands. It can also dictate the text with or without an internet connection.
Notably, Microsoft collects and uses your voice recordings to offer the service by creating a text transcription of the spoken words in the voice data. Don’t worry as the company will not store or access these recordings without your permission.
When the online or cloud-based service is disabled, you will still be able to use speech recognition via the Narrator app or the Windows Speech Recognition app.
How to access the Speech Recognition feature in Windows 11?
- On your PC or computer, go to the Start menu
