Introduced with iOS 16, Apple iPhone users have access to the Live Activities feature. It is a small view of an application that appears on the lock screen of your device and gives a brief description of the current progress or ongoing operations.
Eventually, the respective function enables you to see live information at a glance on your iPhone’s Dynamic Island and at the same time, perform quick actions related to the displayed content. Some of the instances are a sports score, food delivery details, weather inputs, and more.
How to turn on the Live Activities feature on your Apple iPhone?
- Head to the Settings menu
- Scroll down and select Face ID & Passcode
- Now enter your passcode
- The Allow Access When Locked section will appear
- Look for the Live Activities option
- Turn on the toggle of the Live Activities option
