Telegram has some useful media-related functionalities such as the Auto-Save feature. As the name suggests, the respective capability preserves any new image, video, or other media contact automatically to your device’s Gallery or Photos app.
Further, it filters the media content by size, format, and chat type so that you may not face any limitations while accessing them. Besides, one can also use individual exceptions for any chats to change their parameters and ensure that nothing unnecessary is being saved to the device.
How to activate the Auto-Save Media feature in Telegram?
- Launch the Telegram app on your phone
- Tap on the three-line icon
- Click on the Settings option
- Scroll down and select Data & Storage
- Look for the Save to Gallery option
- Turn on the toggle for the options listed in the section as per your requirements
