Google Phone app lets you rest for a while during a phone call with the unique Hold for Me feature. Notably, when users are on a business call and being put on hold, they can opt for the respective capability where the Google Assistant will wait and notify them as the other end user gets ready to speak.
After the call ends, one can share their audio and transcript to improve Hold for me to a better extent. While the feature is exclusive to Pixel devices, you can check its availability via the latest version of the Google Phone app. Since this is an AI-powered feature, it may fail to detect when you’re on hold. Also, Hold for Me only works for toll-free numbers such as 800 or 888.
