Google Drive is a must-have app for personal and business account users as it allows them to store, share, and perform certain document-related operations offline. And here is a small guide that tells how you can work on this amazing application without an internet connection.
How to use the Google Drive app offline?
1. Via Computer
- Visit the https://drive.google.com
- Tap on the gear icon at the top right corner of the screen
- Select the Settings option
- Look for the Offline section
- Checkmark the box for Create, open, and edit your recent Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides files on this device while offline
- Hit the Save Changes option
2. Via Smartphone
- Open the Google Drive app
- Click on the three-dot menu in the top right corner
- Select Settings
- Choose the Offline access option
- Turn on the toggle for Offline access
