Generally, phishing messages in an SMS that collect your personal details. It also steals passwords, account information, or social security codes, resulting in attacks on your credit card inputs and other essentials. For instance – a promise of winning a lottery or deal, offering a loan at a low interest rate, telling a problem related to your bank account, and more.
How to report a phishing text message?
- Open the Messages app on your phone
- Long press on the phishing text that you want to report
- Click on the three-dot menu
- Tap on the Block option
- Here you will find the Report Spam box, check-mark it
- Click on the OK button to continue
