WhatsApp has several tools that offer a seamless chat experience to users but have you tried the “Message Yourself” feature? As the term reflects, you can send texts to yourself to keep track of notes and messages. It will be similar to regular chats although, you cannot make audio or video calls, block/report, or check the last seen status.
On the flip side, you don’t have to worry about privacy aspects as messages to yourself will remain end-to-end encrypted.
How to use the WhatsApp Message Yourself feature?
- Open WhatsApp on your Android phone
- Click on the New Chat icon at the below right corner of the screen
- In the contact list, you will see the (You) option at the top
- Click on the (You) or your name option
- And it’s done. You can now message yourself!
