Apple iOS 17 has a Contact Poster feature that enables you to customize how someone appears on your iPhone while contacting you. Eventually, you can use a comic or animated avatar for your posters or can generate a new one for your contacts. One can further use images, Memoji, and monograms.
The general motive of this feature is to replace the smaller notification and the thumbnail picture and form a creative layer on the screen when someone calls you.
How to customize the Apple iOS 17 Contact Poster feature?
Initially, you need to create a new poster. To do so, visit the Contacts app on your iPhone. Tap on your name at the top of the contact list and select the Contact Photo & Poster option. Now create a poster using Memoji or Monogram. To switch between different Contact Posters:
- Go to the Contacts app
- Tap on your name
- Select the Contact Photo & Poster option
- Click on the Edit button
- Swipe left or right to choose a Contact Poster or Customize to edit one
After picking the Customize option, you can choose the specific poster you want to modify.
