Amazon Alexa has gained a bunch of new segments including the real-time call translation feature. From the name, the capability enables users to opt for audio as well as video call translation so that they may communicate across multiple languages effectively.
How does the Amazon Alexa Call Translation feature work?
Notably, the significant feature relies upon speech recognition and neural machine translation technology. To use the functionality, all you have to do is – issue a voice command “Alexa, translate German” and the device will start translating the communication between English and German.
The company has launched real-time call translation for Echo devices and Alexa mobile app customers in the US, Canada, Mexico, the UK, Germany, and Italy in more than 10 languages such as English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese.
