Apple is releasing iOS 17.2 beta 4 which packs a bunch of new features and one of them is the Default Alerts Sound tool. Consequently, users can now change and customize the notifications for both sound as well as the haptic function.
How to customize the Apple iOS 17.2 Default Alerts Sound function?
- Install the latest iOS 17.2 beta 4 on your iPhone
- Open the Settings app
- Scroll down and select Sound & Haptics
- Click on the Default Alerts option
The Default Alerts tab enables you to pick the sound used for all incoming notifications. Notably, this feature is a blessing for those who have been asking for it for a long time. Similarly, users can change the default haptic feedback.
