Google fans are familiar with Gmail functions but there are still many tools that they are not aware of, and one such is the Safe Listing feature. From the name, the respective function brings more control to users over their inboxes and makes it easier to obtain important emails without missing them.
In other words, Safe Listing lets you mark some particular email addresses or domains as safe and trustworthy so that they can directly appear in the inbox instead of passing through the spam section. At the same time, it reduces the risk of losing important emails.
How to use the Safe Listing feature in Gmail?
- Open the Gmail app on your device
- Tap on the hamburger menu and select Settings
- Choose the “See all settings” option
- Go to the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab
- Select the ‘Create a new filter’ option
- Enter the email address or domain you want to safe list
- Click Create Filter and check mark Never send it to Spam box
