What is Samsung One UI 6.0 ‘Silence when driving’ feature? How to enable it

Samsung One UI 6.0 brings the “Silence When Driving” feature which lets you control incoming calls and message notifications on your handset while driving. The respective capability relies upon the phone’s motion sensors and Bluetooth connectivity to estimate when you are in a moving vehicle.

Thereafter, it activates the Do Not Disturb feature to restrict unnecessary interruptions when driving. Galaxy users can modify their smartphones via the Modes & Routines section. However, you can turn on this feature without entering any Modes.

How to enable the Samsung One UI 6.0 Silence When Driving feature?

• Install the latest One UI 6.0 upgrade on your Galaxy phone
• Go to the Settings app
• Scroll down and select Safety & Emergency
• Tap on Silence notifications while driving
• Turn on the toggle to enable the feature
