Google introduced a useful feature named App Suggestions for its Pixel devices. From the name, the respective capability streamlines the process of finding apps and further recommends them on either the home screen or the bottom app drawer.
Notably, the App Suggestions functionality depends upon your phone’s activity. Thus, you get suggestions based on your recently used or most used applications. Google has introduced this feature with Android 11 and continues to enhance it with every new software upgrade.
How to disable the App Suggestions feature on Google Pixel?
- Long press on an empty space on the home screen
- Access the Home settings
- Now scroll down and select the Suggestions option
- Look for the ‘Suggestions in all apps list’ and ‘Suggestions on Home Screen’
- Turn off the toggle for both options
