Google Pixel 8 Pro is getting a new feature called Video Boost which claims to give final touches to your recorded clip. It promises to enhance the overall video quality via the post-processing mechanism of Google’s servers. The feature resides in the Google Photos and will initially be available for the ultimate Pro model.
Notably, the company has been readying this amazing capability for the past month and its strings are showing up in the 6.61 version. It further reveals how the Video Boost function will work via the Photos app.
How does the Video Boost feature will work in Google Pixel 8 Pro?
- Turn on the backup settings or back up a specific video
- Backing up may take some time. A notification will appear on the screen when the video is ready
- Google Photos will initiate Video Boost as per your commands
In case you are worried about the performance of your device – Boosting your video won’t affect your phone’s battery life. Although it may take some time depending on the video length, internet speed, and battery status.
