Samsung is preparing to launch its latest laptop, the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360, which recently appeared in FCC listings, indicating that its release is just around the corner. Along with this, leaks have surfaced, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from this new device.

Samsung, a leader in AI integration within smartphones, is now extending its AI capabilities to its laptops. The Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360, though not the first AI-driven laptop on the market, shows potential to be a strong competitor, particularly against popular devices like the MacBook Air.

Design and Hardware Upgrades

The Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 seems to be an upgraded version of its predecessor, the Galaxy Book 4 Pro. It retains a similar design and port layout but introduces several key improvements. A notable upgrade is the addition of a Copilot button, replacing the right Ctrl key, which will activate AI-powered features in Windows.

Under the hood, the laptop is expected to feature a new processor, the Intel Core Ultra 5 226V, known as “Lunar Lake.” This marks a significant enhancement over the previous model. Connectivity is also upgraded with support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, compared to Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 in the Galaxy Book 4 Pro. However, most other specifications are likely to remain unchanged.

Display and Performance

The Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 is rumored to sport a stunning 16-inch WQXGA+ AMOLED touchscreen, complete with S Pen support. The laptop could be powered by 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offer up to 512 GB of NVMe SSD storage, with potentially more options available. Additionally, a 76Wh battery, supported by 65W USB-C charging, is expected to provide ample power for the device. The port selection may include USB 3.2, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Anticipated Release

While there is no official word on the launch date, the appearance of the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 in the FCC database suggests that its release is imminent. With the leaked specs and images, Samsung’s new AI-powered laptop looks set to be a formidable addition to the market.
