Samsung’s Galaxy S24 FE has recently had its design revealed through a wireless charging certification, giving us a detailed look at what to expect from the upcoming device. While the official launch date is still under wraps, the leaked design provides a glimpse into the almost finalized version of the phone.
According to a listing on the Wireless Power Consortium, the Galaxy S24 FE (model SM-S721U) will feature 15W wireless charging. The leaked image shows an Infinity-O display with thinner bezels and a slightly slimmer chin compared to the S24 and S24 Plus models. The rear of the device includes a triple-camera setup, along with an LED flash, maintaining Samsung’s familiar design language.
The wireless charging certification primarily reveals the details of the U.S. variant, but it is expected that the global model will also support the same 15W wireless charging feature. Notably, this year’s S24 FE might not follow the dual-chip strategy seen in previous FE models.
Earlier, the Galaxy S24 FE also passed certification with TUV Rheinland, confirming a larger battery, although the charging speed is likely to remain at 25W, similar to its predecessors like the Galaxy S24, S23 FE, and S21 FE.
The Galaxy S24 FE is expected to be priced at around $600 (approximately INR 50,000) for the base model. Interestingly, this could be the first time an FE model comes with a 12GB RAM option, potentially enhancing on-device AI features for a better user experience.
