Samsung One UI 7.0: A new look for your Galaxy
Key Points:
- Separate AOD and Lock Screen Settings: Customize your phone’s display to your liking.
- Notification Icon Control: Hide or show notifications on your AOD and lock screen.
- Enhanced AOD Customization: Change clock location, size, and other elements.
Samsung is set to give Galaxy users more control over their phone’s display with the upcoming One UI 7.0 update. One of the most exciting features is the ability to customize the Always On Display (AOD) and lock screen separately. This means you can have different backgrounds, clock styles, and notification settings for each screen.
In addition to separate settings, One UI 7.0 will also allow users to hide notification icons on the AOD screen. This is a feature that many users have been requesting for a long time. With the Good Lock’s LockStar module, you’ll be able to choose whether or not to display notifications on your AOD and lock screen. You can also customize the location, size, and appearance of the clock and other elements on your AOD.
While we don’t have an exact release date for One UI 7.0, Samsung is expected to release it sometime later this year. This update will bring a significant visual overhaul, with a new two-page Quick Panel, smoother animations, a redesigned battery icon, and more.
Stay tuned for more updates on One UI 7.0 and its exciting new features!
