Samsung’s latest SmartThings update (version 1.8.21.28) introduces powerful new features, including Home Insights, Daily Routines, and improved device control. Users can now view real-time smart home information through the Home Insights Dashboard, showing energy usage, air quality, and even AI-generated summaries (available in South Korea and the U.S.).

New Features in SmartThings 1.8.21.28:

  • Daily Routines and Categories: Organize and set routines based on specific times and conditions.
