Samsung’s One UI 7.0 beta program expected soon: what to expect and who’s eligible

Posted on

Samsung may soon launch the beta version of One UI 7.0, its upcoming user interface update for Galaxy devices, with new features and enhancements. A recent leak showcased official marketing materials for One UI 7.0, giving a detailed look at what Galaxy users can anticipate. This significant reveal suggests that the beta testing phase is close, with hints pointing toward a launch date in the coming weeks.

Additionally, Samsung has set up dedicated One UI 7.0 beta subforums on its community platforms in the United States for the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 series, further indicating an imminent launch. These forums are currently empty, suggesting that while the official announcement may be soon, the first beta update might still be a few weeks away.

Samsung’s Developer Conference, scheduled for November 21 in South Korea, could be the event where the company officially introduces the One UI 7.0 beta program. If so, the Galaxy S24 series—comprising the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra—will likely be the first to receive the update. The Galaxy S23 series and other eligible Galaxy devices are expected to follow shortly after, although Samsung has delayed this release by several months compared to the One UI 6.0 beta timeline.

Despite the beta program’s anticipated release, the final stable version of One UI 7.0 is unlikely to roll out to existing Galaxy models until after the Galaxy S25 series debuts next year. Though exact timing remains unclear, it’s unlikely that Samsung will release the official update on the same day as the Galaxy S25’s launch.

For users wondering whether their Galaxy device will be eligible for the Android 15 and One UI 7.0 update, stay tuned to Samsung’s announcements as more details emerge.
