Samsung is gearing up for an exciting 2025, starting with the launch of the Galaxy S25 series and followed by the next-generation foldable phones in the second half of the year. According to insider reports, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 will feature larger displays and significant upgrades that could redefine their usability.
Galaxy Z Flip 7: Bigger and Better Displays
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is set to take its compact design to new heights with larger cover and inner screens. Display expert Ross Young suggests that the main screen may expand to approximately 6.85 inches, compared to the 6.7 inches on the Z Flip 6. Similarly, the cover screen could grow to 4 inches, surpassing this year’s 3.4-inch outer panel.
The Z Flip 7’s larger displays will offer more functionality without the need to unfold the device, aligning with the trend of foldable phones providing more seamless multitasking and user-friendly designs. This upgrade also positions the Z Flip 7 as a strong competitor to Motorola’s Razr series, which has led the way in cover display innovation.
As indicated, both the Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 will get larger in 2025…

Galaxy Z Fold 7: A Display Revolution
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 is also expected to receive major display enhancements. Reports indicate that the device may share similar specs to the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which features a massive 8-inch main screen and a 6.5-inch cover display. These upgrades would mark a significant leap from the Z Fold 6, which already improved the usability of its outer screen.
With these updates, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 aims to meet long-standing user demands for better outer displays, enhancing multitasking and productivity without compromising portability.
One UI 7: A Fresh Take on the Samsung Find App
Samsung is also refining its ecosystem with the upcoming One UI 7 update, introducing a redesigned Samsung Find app. This app helps users locate their Galaxy devices, track friends, and manage connected items.
A leaked preview by tech insider Gerwin Van Giessen revealed the app’s new icon, featuring a sharper location pin with a clean circular base. While the color scheme remains consistent—white, light blue, and dark blue—the design looks more modern and polished.
Additionally, the app now has an updated navigation bar, improving its layout and overall ease of use. These changes are part of Samsung’s efforts to streamline the experience for Galaxy users.
Samsung Find App: Evolving Features
Launched in January 2024, the Samsung Find app builds on the functionality of SmartThings Find, offering unique features such as location sharing with time limits. Users can share their location with friends or family and request location updates from others. Since its release, Samsung has continuously enhanced the app with added features and performance improvements.
With One UI 7, the Samsung Find app is expected to become even more intuitive and versatile, allowing Galaxy users to locate their devices or track connections with minimal effort. The redesign focuses on making the app simpler and more practical for everyday use.
Samsung’s anticipated 2025 lineup underscores its commitment to innovation, combining improved hardware in the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 with software refinements in One UI 7. Together, these updates will enhance the user experience for foldable enthusiasts and the broader Galaxy ecosystem.
