Samsung has started rolling out the December 2024 security update for its Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphones. Currently available in South Korea, the update is expected to reach other regions soon.

The update is based on Android 14 with One UI 6.1.1 and carries the following build versions:
- Galaxy Z Fold 6: F956NKSS2AXKC
- Galaxy Z Flip 6: F741NKSS2AXKC
It requires a 380MB download and aims to enhance device security and performance.
Security Enhancements
The December 2024 patch fixes 45 vulnerabilities, including:
- 6 critical issues and 28 high-severity vulnerabilities identified by Google.
- Two Samsung-specific vulnerabilities related to semiconductor products.
- 8 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) fixes targeting areas like Theme Center, Galaxy Watch Bluetooth, SmartSwitch, and Dex Mode.
One previously resolved issue has also been revisited, and a non-relevant vulnerability has been excluded from the update.
