Samsung kicked off the beta testing for One UI 7.0, which is based on Android 15, with the Galaxy S24 series back in early December 2024. They’ve since pushed out two more beta versions, and it seems like the beta phase is wrapping up. The company has announced that the final, stable version of One UI 7.0 will be out soon.
In a brief statement, Samsung noted that the One UI 7.0 Beta Program attracted a lot more participants than the previous One UI 6.0 program. Because of this, they had to shut down sign-ups much quicker than before. They’ve gathered user feedback and are planning to apply these suggestions to the upcoming stable release.
Samsung has promised that all eligible Galaxy S phones will get the stable One UI 7.0 update by the end of March 2025. After that, the update will roll out to other devices in order. From what they’ve said, it looks like the beta testing is about to end, making way for the stable update.
The Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra will be the first to come with One UI 7.0 right out of the box. These models will be revealed tomorrow and should hit the stores within the next two weeks. Around that time, Samsung plans to update the Galaxy S24 and then move on to older Galaxy S and Z series phones with the stable One UI 7.0.
