Samsung’s One UI 7.0: Stable update on the horizon

Samsung has officially announced that the stable version of One UI 7.0, built on Android 15, is soon to be released. The journey began with the rollout of the first beta to the Galaxy S24 series in early December 2024, followed by two additional beta updates, signaling the nearing end of the testing phase.

The company noted a significant participation in the One UI 7.0 Beta Program, surpassing the engagement seen with One UI 6.0. Due to this high demand, Samsung had to close beta program enrollment much quicker than anticipated. They’ve gathered substantial user feedback, which they plan to incorporate into the final stable release.

According to Samsung’s latest press release, all compatible Galaxy S series devices are slated to receive this update before the close of Q1 2025. The rollout will then extend to other Samsung models. The excitement is palpable as the Galaxy S25 series, including the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, will debut with One UI 7.0, scheduled for announcement tomorrow and expected in stores within the next two weeks.

Following this, the stable update is expected to be pushed to the Galaxy S24 and older Galaxy S and Z series devices, promising a refreshed user experience across Samsung’s lineup.
