Samsung is launching its new Galaxy S25 series at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event today. The big news is that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have Gorilla Armor 2, which is a new kind of screen tech that reduces glare.

According to @evleaks, Samsung and Corning are teaming up to show off this new Gorilla Armor 2. Earlier leaks said the same about the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s screen.

This Gorilla Armor 2 will make the phone’s screen tougher and easier to see. It’s an upgrade from the screen on the last model, the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The first Gorilla Armor made the screen more durable, less likely to get scratched, and better to look at than before. It was three times stronger and cut glare by 75% compared to normal glass. Tests showed it didn’t get scratched easily and was much more resistant than typical screen protectors.

The new Gorilla Armor 2 is expected to be even better. It’ll make the screen even stronger, with less glare and better scratch protection. This means the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be more durable and the screen will look better.
