The S Pen for the Galaxy S25 Ultra has some cool new features, even though it’s missing a few from older models.
First off, the S Pen no longer uses Bluetooth, so you can’t do those ‘Air Actions’ anymore. But don’t worry, the safety feature where your phone alerts you if you forget your S Pen is still there. This feature doesn’t need Bluetooth to work; it just checks if the S Pen is in its slot. If you take out the S Pen and walk away with your phone turned off, you’ll get a reminder saying you left it behind.
To keep this warning feature active, go to the “More S Pen settings” in your phone’s settings. There’s no reason to turn it off unless you’re planning not to use the S Pen and want to leave the slot open for some reason.
Even with the Bluetooth gone, the S Pen is still awesome for writing and drawing. It has a fine 0.7mm tip and supports 4096 levels of pressure, making it feel just like using real pen and paper. Plus, the Galaxy S25 Ultra looks pretty sharp.
