When will Samsung launch Galaxy S25 Edge

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge

Samsung ended its Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event with a surprise. They teased a new, very thin high-end phone named the Galaxy S25 Edge. Although they didn’t say when it would come out during the show, an executive spilled the beans afterward.

When Will We See the Galaxy S25 Edge?

According to the executive, Samsung plans to release the Galaxy S25 Edge sometime around April 2025. This means we might see it hit the market just before or just after April.

This is exciting because it’s the first time since the Galaxy S10 that we’re getting a fourth model in the Galaxy S line, not counting the FE or Lite versions. The lineup now includes the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, S25 Edge, and the S25 Ultra.

What Does the Galaxy S25 Edge Look Like?

The Galaxy S25 Edge is impressively thin, measuring about 6.4mm (not counting the camera bump). It features a big, bright Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with a small hole for the selfie camera. Its design includes flat edges and rounded corners, matching the style of the other S25 phones. It’s rumored to use a special 7-core version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.

Camera Details

Interestingly, the S25 Edge only has two cameras at the back, which might mean it’s not as versatile as the S25 in photography. There was some talk about it having a 200MP main camera, a 12MP wide-angle, and a 50MP zoom camera, but that turned out to be incorrect.

Other Details

We don’t know much more about its specs or how much it will cost yet. However, if you’re interested in the other phones in the Galaxy S25 series, you can already pre-order them and expect delivery by February 3.
