Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Charging speed revealed

Samsung gave us a sneak peek of the Galaxy S25 Edge at their recent Unpacked event, but they didn’t share many details about the phone itself. Thankfully, a fresh entry in China’s 3C database has shed light on one key feature – how fast it charges. According to the listing, the S25 Edge (model SM-S9370) will support a maximum charging speed of 25W.

This matches the charging capability of the standard Galaxy S25 model, but it’s notably less than what you get with the S25+ and S25 Ultra, which both support 45W charging. As for the battery, we don’t have solid info yet, but whispers suggest it might be somewhere between 3,000 and 4,000 mAh.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is slated to hit the shelves around April, but only in select markets. It’s expected to come with a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, it’s rumored to pack the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor. Camera-wise, it should feature a 200MP main camera alongside a 50MP secondary camera.

After the Unpacked event, we got a closer look at the S25 Edge, giving us a better feel for what this phone might bring to the table. Keep your eyes peeled for more details as the launch date approaches.
