Samsung’s One UI 7 update coming with S25 Series

One UI 7

Samsung fans have been waiting for the One UI 7 stable update, which was supposed to roll out in November but has been slightly delayed. Now, it looks like the update will begin once the new Galaxy S25 phones are released.

One UI 7 Features

At the recent Unpacked event, Samsung showed off some cool new stuff in One UI 7:

  • New Look: The interface has a fresh, colorful design with new icons and animations that make everything look better.
  • Simpler Notifications: The way you see notifications and quick settings has been made easier and cleaner.
  • Cool Lock Screen: You can now customize your lock screen more, with a new feature called the Now Bar that makes it more useful.
  • Smart AI Tools: There are new AI features that help with writing, transcribing calls, and even turning your doodles into pictures.
  • Better Camera and Security: The camera is easier to use with new controls, and security has been beefed up with the Knox Matrix.

When Will We Get It?

Samsung has confirmed that the stable version of One UI 7 will start rolling out with the Galaxy S25 series. With pre-orders for these phones already open and shipping starting February 4, it seems likely that the update will hit on February 7 when the phones become widely available.

Who Gets It First?

The Galaxy S24 series was the first to get the One UI 7 beta in seven countries, and these models will be the first to get the stable update. Following closely, the Galaxy S23, S22, and S21 series, along with the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip phones, are expected to receive the update throughout February.

What About Other Phones?

For those with mid-range or budget Samsung phones, don’t worry; you’ll get One UI 7 too, probably by March. Samsung aims to have everything updated by the end of the first quarter.

This update is a big deal for Samsung users, promising a smoother, more personalized experience across their devices.
