Samsung is getting ready to introduce a new phone from their Galaxy F series in India. It seems this new phone might be called the Galaxy F16 5G, and you’ll probably only find it on Flipkart.
Galaxy F16 5G Might Have a Smooth 90Hz Screen
Samsung has given us a sneak peek with an image shared on the Flipkart app. The image uses words like “Fantastic,” “Fast,” “Fashionable,” “Foto,” “Fun,” and “Futuristic” to describe this new model. This hints that the Galaxy F16 5G is on its way, similar to the Galaxy A16 5G.
Samsung Teases New Galaxy F16 5G in India
There’s already a support page up on Samsung India’s website for this phone, suggesting that its launch is just around the corner.
A while back, some details about what the Galaxy F16 5G might offer leaked. It’s rumored to come with a 6.7-inch screen that’s not only sharp with Full HD+ resolution but also smooth with a 90Hz refresh rate. For photography, expect a 50MP main camera at the back and a 13MP front camera for selfies. Information on the other back cameras is still under wraps.
The phone might run on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300+ chip with 8GB of RAM and storage options up to 256GB, plus a slot for expanding memory. A large battery, either 5,000mAh or 6,000mAh, is expected, supporting 25W fast charging.
The phone will probably come with One UI 7.0 right out of the box and could receive six big Android updates in the future.
