Exciting new features in Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge

Samsung is about to release the Galaxy S25 Edge, aiming to take on the new iPhone 17 Air. After introducing three models in the S25 series, this new Edge version promises some cool upgrades. Here’s what we know so far from the latest leaks.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to boast a vibrant Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen, hitting a brightness peak of 2,600 nits. It’ll have a smooth screen refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz, making everything from scrolling to gaming feel seamless. Plus, it’s going to be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, with super slim bezels at just 1.32mm.
Camera-wise, the phone is rumored to have a fantastic 200MP main camera for those crisp, clear shots. Selfie lovers will also enjoy a 12MP front camera.
The body of the S25 Edge will be made from Armor Aluminum, which is both strong and light. Inside, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, with 12GB of RAM and UFS 4.0 storage for quick operations. There’s also talk of a new, thinner cooling system to keep the phone from overheating during long use.
Connectivity won’t be an issue with the S25 Edge, featuring Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port. A 3,900mAh battery with 25W fast charging is also on the list, promising less waiting time for power-ups.
Security and audio are covered too, with an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner and dual stereo speakers packed into its slim profile. However, it might come in just one color option. Keep in mind, these are just leaks for now, so we’ll need to wait for Samsung’s official launch to confirm all these details. But if true, the Galaxy S25 Edge could be a real game-changer in the smartphone market.
