New security fix for Galaxy Z Flip 4 in February 2025

Samsung

Samsung has just released a new security update for the Galaxy Z Flip 4. This update, which came out yesterday, fixes several security problems that could have been risky for users. Right now, this update is only available for the version of the phone that’s locked to certain U.S. carriers. The phone model is SM-F721U, and after updating, its software version will be F721USQS7GYA5. You can get this update if your phone is with DISH, MetroPCS, or T-Mobile. Samsung will probably release it for other versions of the phone soon.

If you have this model of the Galaxy Z Flip 4, you might see a pop-up message on your phone telling you about the update. Just tap on it and choose “Download and install”. If you don’t see this message, go into your phone’s settings. Look for “Software update” and then click on “Download and install” to start the update. There’s also another way to get the update from our firmware section if you prefer.

One UI 7.0 Update for Galaxy Z Flip 4

Also, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is supposed to get an update to One UI 7.0, which is based on Android 15. Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t released this update yet, even though many people are waiting for it. We don’t know when it will come out, but you can stay updated by joining our channel on Telegram or WhatsApp to know as soon as it’s available.
