Samsung Galaxy S24 gets cool new AI camera filters in One UI 7 Beta 4

Posted on

Samsung has just made the camera on the Galaxy S24 series even more fun with the latest One UI 7 Beta 4 update. This update brings a whole bunch of new AI-powered camera filters, aiming to give Apple’s iPhone 16 a run for its money. With this update, your Galaxy S24 now has 10 different camera filters to choose from: Breeze, Pulse, Crystal, Shiver, Chill, Glow, Amber, Sunbeam, Shadow, and Shade. Whether you’re snapping photos or recording videos, these filters can change how your pictures or videos look with just a tap.

The camera app now has a handy button for downloading even more filters. Just hit the download button, and it’ll take you straight to the Galaxy Store where you can grab more filter packs to play with. However, if you’re into taking portraits, you’ll have to wait a bit because these new filters aren’t available in Portrait mode yet. Hopefully, Samsung will include them there soon.

One cool feature of the new filter interface is the ability to tweak your filter settings. You can adjust things like how strong the filter is, the color warmth, how vivid the colors appear, the contrast, and even add a film grain effect. All these adjustments can be made with easy-to-use sliders, and if you mess up, there’s an undo button to get back to your original settings.

But that’s not all; besides the filters, this update also introduces “Samsung Log” to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which is great news for video enthusiasts as it enhances your video editing capabilities after you’ve shot your footage. Samsung is rolling out One UI 7 Beta 4 slowly to Galaxy S24 users to make sure everything works smoothly. Depending on how well this beta version performs, we might see another beta or jump right to the stable release.
