Samsung Galaxy M16 5G and F16 5G: Fresh details unveiled

Samsung

Samsung is gearing up to bring two affordable smartphones to India: the Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy F16 5G. Recently, these devices popped up on India’s BIS website, and now their support pages on Samsung India’s site are sharing some exciting updates.

The support pages list the model numbers for both phones. The Galaxy M16 5G carries the code SM-M166P/DS, while the Galaxy F16 5G is tagged as SM-E166P/DS. These pages also hint that the starting memory for both could be 4GB of RAM. Looking at older models, though, options like 6GB or 8GB might also be offered. Geekbench records back this up, showing the phones could handle up to 8GB of RAM.

Both the Galaxy M16 5G and F16 5G will come with Android 15 and Samsung’s One UI on top. They’re expected to support two SIM cards, connect to dual-band Wi-Fi, and run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip. This processor is a step up from the Dimensity 6100+ used before, with faster cores for better everyday use.

Price-wise, these phones should stay under Rs 15,000, keeping them wallet-friendly like their earlier versions. The M-series usually lands on Amazon, while the F-series hits Flipkart. Since the M15 5G and F15 5G debuted in March 2024, the M16 5G and F16 5G might not be far off—possibly arriving soon. Samsung’s latest budget duo promises solid features at a low cost, making them worth watching for anyone hunting for a good deal. Stay tuned for more news on their launch!
