Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 get February 2025 safety update

Samsung has begun sending out the February 2025 safety update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3. This update brings the newest Android security patch, making these phones safer and more stable for users to enjoy. The update is rolling out first in Korea, with plans to reach other countries soon. Since it’s just starting, it might take a little while to arrive on every device.
You can spot the February 2025 update on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 with the One UI version F926NKSS6JYB1, and on the Z Flip 3 with F711NKSS6JYB1. It boosts your phone’s security and keeps it running smoothly. This update fixes one major issue and 34 serious problems in the Android system, known as CVEs. Two of those issues don’t affect Galaxy phones, so they’re not included here.
Extra Fixes for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3
Besides Google’s fixes, Samsung added 7 of its own improvements, called SVE items, to make the phones work even better. It tackles problems with the Samsung Find app, a settings feature, and a few other things, all to keep your device safe and fast. To check for the update yourself, go to your phone’s Settings, scroll down to Software Update, and tap it.
Then press Download and Install if your phone finds the new update ready. Right now, Samsung seems to be gearing up to launch the stable One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series. After that, it’ll likely come to more devices, including the Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, in the near future. This update keeps your foldable phone secure and ready for whatever’s next!
