Galaxy Z Fold 7 could get a new and improved S Pen

Samsung might shake things up with the S Pen for the Galaxy Z Fold 7. After a less-than-great update to the S Pen for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the company seems ready to tweak the stylus again—but this time, it could be a positive change.
A Thicker S Pen for Better Writing
Don’t expect the Galaxy Z Fold 7 to have a slot for the S Pen built into the phone. Instead, rumors suggest Samsung is working on a refreshed S Pen with a new tip. According to a leak from @PandaFlashPro, this updated stylus might feel better to write with because it’s a bit thicker. Production is said to start in June, lining up for the phone’s expected July 2025 reveal. That said, take this with a pinch of caution—the source hasn’t always been spot-on.
It’s unclear if this S Pen will match the size of older models or the larger S Pen Pro. There’s also no word yet on whether it’ll include Bluetooth for cool tricks like Air Actions.
Bigger Screens and More Upgrades
- The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is likely to sport larger displays than the Fold 6. Think a 6.5-inch outer screen and an 8-inch foldable inner screen. The crease might be less obvious, and the displays could use less power, which is always a plus.
- Camera-wise, don’t expect a big leap. It might keep a 200MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 10MP zoom lens, plus a 12MP front camera—similar to the Galaxy S25 lineup.
- Under the hood, the phone could pack the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, at least 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It’s expected to launch with One UI 7 right from the start.
Battery and Charging Details
The battery size might not grow, but charging could get a boost to 45W. Plus, it may support Qi2 accessories for wireless charging. Samsung’s next foldable could be a solid upgrade worth watching!
