Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 CAD renders unveiled

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7

Here’s a first glimpse at the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, set to launch in July alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 will feature a slightly bigger 3.6-inch cover screen and a 6.8-inch main display. These are small upgrades from the 3.4-inch and 6.7-inch screens on the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

The phone’s size has also stretched a bit to 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9mm, or 9.1mm thick including the camera bump. That larger outer screen will feel great to use, though it’s worth noting the Motorola Razr+ 2024 (Razr Ultra 50) still boasts a bigger cover display—and it came out nearly a year ago.

Samsung plans to stick with its dual camera system for the Z Flip 7, featuring a 50-megapixel main lens and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens. These might look familiar, but they’re likely improved versions. As for the processor, it’s still up in the air—some say it’ll be the Exynos 2500, while others claim Samsung might skip it due to production issues.  Either way, the phone will pack 12GB of RAM and offer 256GB or 512GB of storage options.

Price Stays Steady

Good news: the Galaxy Z Flip 7 should keep its starting price at $1,099. Samsung bumped up the cost a couple of years back with the Z Flip 5, but this year’s Galaxy S25 lineup didn’t see a hike, so the Z Flip 7 is following suit.

There’s also buzz about a less noticeable crease on the Z Flip 7 (and Fold 7). According to several insiders, it won’t vanish completely, but it’ll be much fainter than on the Z Flip 6. That’s a nice touch for anyone who loves a smooth, sleek screen. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the big reveal!
