Samsung’s One UI 7 Beta Delay: Frustrating fans of S23, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6

One UI 7

Samsung might soon face a storm of upset from its Galaxy fans. The company hasn’t been clear about its plans for One UI 7, leaving users in the dark. While people wait for the final version, rumors say Samsung plans to bring the One UI 7 Beta to the S23 series, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6.

In recent years, Samsung has stepped up its game with better software support. Besides regular security fixes, their approach to One UI 7 has let down millions of loyal fans. One UI runs on Android, and Google released the stable Android 15 back in October 2024. Yet, even the S24 series is still waiting for it now in February 2025. Samsung hasn’t shared a clear schedule, and some whispers suggest the stable version might not arrive until March.

If the S24 is still behind, it’s hard to imagine older phones like the S23 or S22 getting the update soon. Samsung seems to be playing it cautious, avoiding firm promises while fans grow restless. One UI 7 builds on Android 15, but Google is already testing Android 16, with its third beta due next month and a full release expected in June 2025.

Things went smoothly with One UI 6. Samsung kicked off its beta in August 2024, based on Android 14, and began rolling out the stable version by October. Most Galaxy users got it before the year ended. But this time, the One UI 7 Beta started in December 2024, and last year’s top phones are still waiting for the final update.

Now, Samsung seems to be planning the next phase of the One UI 7 Beta. With Android 16 nearing its public launch in June and March just around the corner, Samsung’s flagship phones are stuck on Android 14. Fans are getting louder, and it might have caught the attention of the company’s big bosses.

Expanding the beta instead of releasing a stable update feels like a trick to calm down S23, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 users. Samsung needs to step up, share a clear plan, and stop the growing frustration among its Galaxy fans.
