Samsung confirm Galaxy S25 Edge and XR Headset at MWC25, skips One UI 7 again

Samsung has shared its plans for MWC25, set for March 3-6 in Barcelona. Visitors will get a peek at the new Galaxy S25 Edge and Project Moohan, Samsung’s first XR headset powered by Android XR.
At the event, Samsung will also roll out the Galaxy A56 5G, A36 5G, and A26 5G. These phones come with “Awesome Intelligence” and promise six years of software updates. The S25 lineup will be available too, letting people try out cool AI features like Circle to Search and Gemini Live.
The Samsung booth will highlight how AI can improve daily life. You’ll see health tools like Energy Score and Sleep Insights on the S25, plus SmartThings demos for home control. Security gets attention as well, with Knox Vault protecting your info.
Still No News on One UI 7
Samsung talked up the S25, AI goodies, and Project Moohan, but One UI 7 didn’t get a mention. The company isn’t saying anything about when the Android 15-based One UI 7 update will arrive.
